A PATTERN 1907 SWORD BAYONET FOR THE SMLE, circa 1916, with 17 in. single-edged steel blade fullered on each side, ricasso markings unreadable, steel cross-guard and hilt, with black painted wooden grips, together with its black leather scabbard with steel fittings, blade heavily pitted, pommel pitted, locket rusted and scratched, length 22 3/4 in. overall
